This wood should be available for instrument making in the near future as I am using the suggested 'sun curing' method recommended by the wood supplier. This method is to place the wood in the sun (turning regularly on stickers for air circulation) and keeping the wood dry and away from any moisture condensation at night. According to him, maple wood can be cured to a resonate quality in 'just a few months' in this manner while it would take at least five years if stickered and stored inside.
