...Opus #06 is made with a traditional straight top grain, Stradivarius exterior pattern (1714 model) , and has been carefully adjusted for best acoustical properties. ..This violin shows a thin black line at the center joint of the plates which echos the black purfling and ebony fittings. ...A solid and pretty tone, very even and excellent response. Available now for $ 3,000,. ...This violin was played continually, 24 hours per day, for one full year {7/2007 to 7/2008} in our violin sound box which simulates actual playing. ...This technique probably has simulated between 12 and 36 years of playing by a professional for two hours per day, because of the reflected sound from the hardwood box and the continual vibration of the violin by sound (classical music of source!) Please see photos below... |

...This is our Opus #06 violiin fitted up in the violin sound box (the lid is lifted off so we can see inside). Notice the high performance audio speaker that is connected to the bridge with a paper cone and a strip of violin rib maple strip which is glued to the top back side of the bridge. As the speaker operates , its vibration (classical music) is transmitted to the violin just as if the strings were being vibrated by the bow. The body of the violin then vibrates and becomes the audio speaker. The whole assembly is covered by a hardwood box which reflects the sound the violin body radiates directly back to the violin body so that its vibration is amplified, thus enhancing the break-in effect. ...This year's exposure to continual music has richened the sound of this violin into a rich, full tone. ...Please stop by to try it for yourself in our new acoustical playing room.... |
