| The hide glue is heated in its water bath to 150*F. and the three ebony wood parts and neck/body are heated to 100*F, then glued and clamped firmly in place. Notice the taped-on reference line on the wide end of the fingerboard. I have a corresponding mark below on the top of the body, (also on a piece of tape), as an alignment aid. | |||||||||||||||

| The nut and saddle are also glued and set into position. Again, hot water and a brush are used to wash excess glue from the edges. | |||||||||||||||
