This view shows an excellent fit of the neck to the body. Notice how the neck fits tightly into the recess in the rib structure.
The two aluminum studs in rough position. These are coated with a thickened epoxy mixture just before applying traditional hide glue to the wood surfaces and clamping in position.
Immediately upon gluing, look at the neck projection above the body from the bottom end of the body to be sure the neck is not tipping. Correct as necessary. This can also be checked by placing a level across the top surface of the neck.
