At this point I have worked the scroll shape and although there is still some detail and sanding to be done, now I will carve the neck bottom detail.

My work setup for quickly re-positioning the assembly and a movable light source which is also helpful.

This is the group of tools I use for neck detailing. Various sanding sticks, files, dremel tool with carbide ball cutter, hand gouges and chisels, and various scrapers.
