. Premium black silicone (high temperature) rubber is not affected by heat or engine motor oil. [ You do want to keep rubber out of contact with solvent or gasoline as this type of rubber will absorb solvents (which can cause extreme swelling if the parts are submerged in the solvent).]
. Some designs are $40 extra because of extra work or large amounts of rubber, and several designs take an extra day to rebuild.

Once the parts are separated, cleaned, solvent washed, water washed, air dryed, corse sandblasted at high pressure, and chemicaly primed... the parts are re-aligned and fixtured.
