(revised 3/11/2010)
Dale Manufacturing was started in 1974 to build a high performance street sports car powered by the Chevrolet Corvair engine. The prototype car was completed in 1978 and unveiled at the U.S. grand prix race at Long Beach, Ca.
. When the federal government wanted three cars to crash test, I decided to concentrate on remanufactured Corvair engine products.
. Since then we have rebuilt about 5,500 flywheels , 6,000 harmonic balancers, and some 2,200 distributors making, unless I am mistaken, Dale Manufacturing the world's leading rebuilder of these Corvair parts.
. I rebuild engine harmonic balancers for all types of cars and most trucks. Our customer sends us his core and we rebuild the failed rubber strip and return in two business days. (details in harmonic balancer section)
